Hi all
So I’ve been given a video to edit by a friend of mine and for some reason we can’t quite figure out, the video comes up as 81 hours long (it’s supposed to only by around 4). So I’m using Premiere Pro and of course, it crashes any time I try to import the video in because of it’s ridiculous length. The only application that will open it is Quicktime and I thought that I would be able to trim the video in Quicktime down to the 4 hour length it’s supposed to be and Premiere Pro should be okay with that. However, Quicktime not giving me the option to do any kind of editing with it (it just comes up as the un-clickable grey). Does anyone know why this might be the case and how I can get around it? I have OS X Yosemite, Version 10.10 if that helps.
