I purchased a powermac G5 secondhand and all attached software is legitimate. I want to use final cut pro (old version) but I am running OSX 10.3.9 and need to run Quicktime 6.5 at least. I have two legitimate quicktime pro passwords but they do not work with quicktime 7.1.6. I cannot for some reason reinstall 6.5.2 as per apple legacy apps. Is there a way around my problem or do I just have to buy a new upgrade. I guess I am asking if the upgrades are encrypted to the old user. Thanks in advance for your help.
